    • Built control circuit to control current through electrode for drug-delivery.

  • Undergraduate Joe Yun Yin LAM, 2017 Fall, 2018 Fall: Noise Research for Near-infrared Spectroscopy System

    • Built noise shielding system and conducted noise study for the effect electrode treatment on organic field-effect transistors.

  • Undergraduate Liyuan LU, 2016-2017: Towards High-sensitive Red-light Phototransistor Based on Organic Bulk Heterojunction

    • Fabricated red-light organic phototransistor and optimized performance of via material engineering.

  • Undergraduate Ken Ming Hung YIP, 2015-2016: Flexible Metal Electrodes for Weak Physiological Monitoring

    • Fabricated flexible electrode to monitor electrocardiography (ECG) signal and studied the influence of electrodes size on signal quality.

Undergraduate Summer Research

  • Intern undergraduate Feng WANG from Tsinghua University, 2017: Automation of a Characterization System for Phototransistors

    • Built a phototransistor characterization system that enables auto-switch of channels and light intensity. The system can be controlled by PC via USB cable.

  • Exchange undergraduate Beini HU from Smith College, 2016: Electromyography(EMG) Monitoring via Flexible Metal Electrode Array

    • Fabricated flexible electrode array to monitor Electromyography (EMG) signal.

  • Undergraduate Yuehan CHEN (circuit design), Minghan ZHANG (PTT algorithm realization) & Liyuan LU (App and server design), 2016: Multimodality Sensor System for Cuffless Blood Pressure Monitoring

    • Built a system with front-end circuit to sampling ECG and pulse signal from flexible electrode and pressure sensor and also developed a mobile App to display blood pressure in real-time.
